2019 THANKSGIVING FUNDRAISING PARTY

Every opportunity we have to help is also an opportunity to count our blessings.
Thanksgiving season is an important time to spread cheer to those less fortunate. This charitable Thanksgiving party is intended to raise awareness about certain humanitarian causes and to celebrate the spirit of giving. All proceeds will benefit the following designated nonprofit organizations:
Monroe HELP Pregnancy Center is committed to upholding the Sanctity of Human Life. It is a non-profit agency providing free and confidential services for women and men who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. Their caring peer counselors and staff provide pregnancy, parenting, adoption and abortion education.
They offer practical, compassionate support and remove the barriers that cause people to choose abortion. The organization empowers parents to make positive choices for themselves and their families. “Marina’s Kids” is classified as a public charity organization. The organization is named for one of its Founders, Marina James, and grew out of her work with orphans in the Odessa region of the Ukraine. “Marina’s Kids” is currently working with many orphanages in Ukraine. It helps children by improving their living conditions, and by forming relationships with local caregivers.
It funds various projects like building repairs, provides supplies and personal items to orphanages, establishes and maintains contact with caregivers who provide continuous help and mentorship to the children. Marina’s Kids is devoted to the cause of helping disadvantaged children around the world to build a better future. Благотворительный вечер ко Дню Благодарения состоится 15 Ноября. Это мероприятие направлено на привлечение внимания и помощи определенным некоммерческим организациям. Наша задача - напомнить о людях, которые нуждаются в нашей помощи. Собранные средства, за счет продажи билетов и взносов, полностю пойдут в пользу двух благотворительных организаций – Monroe Help Pregnancy Center и проэкту Marina’s Kids. Эти организации остро нуждаются в финансовой поддержке.
Monroe Help Pregnancy Center работает с подростками и молодыми матерями, сохраняя жизни их детей при незапланированной беременности. Беременным женщинам и молодым матерям оказывается социальная, духовная и психологическая поддержка. Их миссия - помочь каждой обратившейся к ним женщине справиться со всеми трудностями, адаптироваться к изменениям в своей жизни, научиться заботиться о себе и своем ребенке, а главное, сохранить жизнь ребенка. Организация Marina’s Kids занимается всесторонней помощью детям из детских домов и неблагополучных семей в Украине: она обеспечивает поставки лекарств и других материалов для нескольких детских домов, проводит всевозможные проэкты и программы для детей-сирот, подростков и молодых мам. В программе нашего вечера торжественный прием, выступления артистов, фуршет, розыгрыши призов, живая музыка и как обычно, новые знакомства и приятная атмосфера накануне праздника Дня Благодарения. Наша задача - напомнить о людях, которые нуждаются в нашей помощи. Каждый гость вечера будет причастен к большому и бескорыстному делу, так как благотворительность — это то, что делает наше общество счастливее и здоровее.
